This way, the next time you’re planning a last-minute vacation or you’ve got some special event that you want to look your best for, you should try these tips in order to get shredded in just a week.

Yet, it’s pretty obvious that you should not expect any huge and drastic differences unless you do it right and you’re already lean. I mean, you can’t get from chubby to shredded in seven days. What you can do instead is to look your best when you’re already lean and want to maximize your physique appearance.

Kick off Lean

You’re left with 880 calories (800 calories from protein + 420 calories from fat = 1220 calories). 2,100 calories you eat per day – 1,220 from fat and protein = 880 calories from carbs. 880 calories / 4 (4 calories from carbs makes 1 gram of carb) = 220 grams of carbs per day.

So, there you have it if you’re a 200 pound man. 2,100 calories per day out of which 47 grams is from fat, 200 grams from protein, and 220 grams from carbs. Start eating this way from the first day out of the 7 days week plan before the event.

How To Get Shredded in 7 Days

Remove all allergens

You may not be allergic or intolerant to foods that are allergens. (It’s obvious you should avoid them if you’re at all times). However, you need to avoid all of them for the next week. Some foods include milk, wheat bread, or artificial sweeteners. Why? Because even the slightest irritation to your digestive system can cause bloating or have your body holding onto water – the exact opposite of what you’re searching for. That’s why you need to eliminate the risk by removing any allergens such as dairy and gluten.

The glycogen is refreshed the quickest in the muscles you use most. That’s why you need to focus mostly during your last workout on the muscles that you want them to pop the most. Want a huge chest and biceps? Focus on these areas in your last workout.

  • TIP: Avoid training abs! They will pump full of glycogen too but it may make you look inflated and bloating, making you lose definition. Another tip: avoid cardio during that week to maximize the glycogen.

Increase calories when needed

After your last training session, you need to eat 2-3 crabs per pound of body weight for the rest of the day. That’s because once your muscle glycogen stores are full, they are going to stay this way until you perform more strength training.

Stay hydrated

You’ve likely heard about it – want to look ripped? Drastically cut your water intake. The problem is that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Yes, you need to cut your water intake, but do it right. Drastically cutting water intake will cause you to bloat even more because your body would hold onto water to avoid dehydration.

You need to drink your usual amount of water. However, you do need to reduce the water intake, but only right up until the night before your event. Then on the day you’re putting the effort in you need to halve your water intake.
