Aromasin is an anti-cancer drug that bodybuilders use to reduce the side effects of anabolic steroids. This medication is lowering estrogen levels in the body very efficiently. This is an Aromatase Inhibitor (AI) and therefore, an anti-estrogen drug.

You shouldn’t keep estrogen too high, or too low. By keeping estrogen within the normal range, you’re going to avoid the side effects.
The good news (for bodybuilders) is that Aromasin is less likely to cause side effects in males than females. That’s why most bodybuilders do not report nasty side effects, if any, at all.
That’s because estrogen is playing a more significant role in the body functions of females than males. Females are naturally having higher levels than males too. Taking this into consideration, lowering estrogen levels might have way more serious side effects on females than males.
That’s why female bodybuilders shouldn’t touch Aromasin. But male bodybuilders should use it correctly.
Bodybuilders usually run one full tablet (usually Exemestane is coming in 25 mg strength) or half of it (12.5 mg) whenever they need it. Some people may need it once a week, others every other day. Other people may not need it at all during the entire steroid cycle.
That’s because it comes down to your genetics (ability to convert into estrogen) as well as the dosage and number of aromatizing steroids. For example, some people don’t need Aromasin by running 300 mg/week of Testosterone, but others may need to use 12.5 – 25 mg every few days.
